 My passion for fashion started when I was a very young girl. As I grew I achieved distinction in the industry both at school and while serving my apprenticeship as a dressmaker.
After gaining great experience through my many years of employment by major fashion companies I decided to follow my dream, and in 1995 launched my own brand “Monika Modes” I know how to put my brides at ease and will create the gown of YOUR dreams. To me, 'nothing is impossible'.
For the bride to be, choosing a wedding gown is a momentous decision as each wishes to express her unique style. The gown must be romantic, elegant and worthy of a place in the spotlight on her most important day.
I am extremely adept at interpreting and creating your dream gown and vision unique to you. With this talent combined with my knowledge of fabrics, I will ultimately create your gown in a style completely unique to your elegance.
Over the previous years, I have been renowned for giving today’s bride exactly what she wants an exquisite gown made exclusively for her, personalised one on one service, & all within a realistic budget.
My attention to detail is at the highest level, and I use the finest fabrics and laces, and where necessary finish off with hand beading. I have a dedicated clientele with many of my truly exquisite gowns going to far away countries such as Ireland, England, Switzerland, Fiji and Australia. Individual gowns are personally tailored for each client by myself directly.
My creations also include gowns for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom & flower girls, as well as other special occasions such as race day outfits, after five apparel and ball gowns.
